The Jettison Toast Company was founded by Peter Jettison, a graduate of North Carolina State University, where he studied mechanical engineering with a focus on small-scale mechanical systems. Like a lot of students, Peter relied on quick, easy meals between classes, and he noticed a consistent issue with standard toasters. It took him longer to get up to retrieve the toast and plate it than it did to actually eat the quick meal! Rather than working around it, he decided to fix it.As part of a personal project, Peter began modifying toaster mechanisms using custom-designed high-tension springs. His goal was straightforward. Among other things, the company specializes in manufacturing Luxury High-Tension Jettison Toaster Springs, which are engineered to replace standard toaster springs and provide a more efficient and controlled ejection.
